In a breaking development on Friday evening, the Miami Dolphins have signed former DE for the Lions, Jason Jones.  Contract details have yet to be disclosed as it has not been made official just yet.

This is a solid depth move for the Dolphins.  After signing Mario Williams, Andre Branch and extending Cameron Wake, the Dolphins lock in Jones.  Jones will add depth and experience to this unit, as he was a starter and teammate of Suh for his final two years in Detroit.  Jones is 29, coming off a 4.5 sack campaign in 2015, with 31 tackles and 1 forced fumble.  In his career, he has 28 sacks, 24 passes defended and 10 forced fumbles.  He figures to be in the mix to start opposite Mario Williams come opening day.  We will see how this progresses and will have more information regarding contract details once they are announced.  Welcome to Miami Jason!
