Major bounce back week with the NFL picks last week. 4-1 bringing my overall record over .500 for the season. My scorching red hot start with the college picks hit a road bump last Saturday because the two Michigan schools hurt me. Still 9-3 overall on the season there so can’t complain. Lot’s of good games this week to make money on. So let’s get right too it.

COLLEGE GAMES             (HOME team in CAPS)

Cincinnati -1.5 over CONNETICUT
UCONN stinks. No nice way to say it so why sugar coat it. They play a 1940’s style football that is very outdated. They have trouble scoring points and aren’t very good on defense. UCONN’s 2 wins are vs Maine and a terrible Virginia team. Cincy coming off a bad home loss is probably best off getting away and going on the road. Small number here and Cincy is by far the better team. Lay the point and the hook and give me Cincy.

PENN ST +1.5 over Maryland
Penn St as a home dog vs Maryland is a gift. Penn St should never be a home dog vs Maryland. This is still Penn St at the end of the day and Maryland hasn’t played or beaten one good team all year. Penn St wins, the free point is a gift.

PITTSBURGH -6.5 over Georgia Tech
I have bet against Georgia Tech almost every week this year and every time I have won. GT can’t pass the ball. Once a team the caliber of Pitt gets a lead on them, game over. The lead just grows slowly over the course of the game. If you force GT to pass, they can’t move the ball. Pitt is a sneaky good team. They are a legit Top 20 team in this country. They have had some heartbreaking losses but they are very good. Take Pitt at home.

YEAR TO DATE RECORD: 9-3

NFL GAMES

PITTSBURGH -7 over New York Jets
The Jets stink. Fitzpatrick is back to being Fitzpatrick….a marginal to bad NFL QB. Eric Decker is hurt, Revis is hurt, the bloom is off the Todd Bowles rose. Lombardi he is not! I don’t see how they can hang with a Pittsburgh team at home who will put up at least 30 pts most likely. Give me Pitt lay the 7.

OAKLAND -3.5 over San Diego
I am a believer in the Raiders. I came into the year a skeptic but they have made a believer out of me. Amazing win last week. Amazing start to the season. San Diego can’t get out of its own way, grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory last week. Raiders laying so few points at home, I’m all in.

New England -10.5 over CLEVELAND
Yes, Brady is back and the Browns run of playing tight games and almost winning comes to a crashing halt. Do I think its 55-3 bad, no. But its an easy 33-7 type of game. I hate laying this many points on the road in the NFL. But its Brady’s first game and the Pats coming off a loss. Just have to do it.

YEAR TO DATE RECORD: 8-7
