The NFL today passed out compensatory picks and the Miami Dolphins got three extra picks for losing Lamar Miller, Rishard Matthews, and Olivier Vernon. Miami got a draft pick in Round 3 (the first of all of the compensatory picks passed out by the league) and they also got two picks in Round 5.

These picks make up for the lost picks in Rounds 3 and 4 Miami traded away to Minnesota last year and the pick in Round 7 they traded away this week to Jacksonville.
