We held the fort last week going 2-2 in both the college and pro picks. It’s been a slow start for me here at the gambling corner this year. After having a tremendous year last season I can’t seem to get off on a nice little hot streak and find my groove. Much like the Miami Dolphins offense, I am struggling. Hopefully this is the week I break out.
COLLEGE GAMES
Michigan -7 over INDIANA
Michigan is coming off a loss and has more talent across the board here than Indiana. Even though Michigan’s quarterback situation is very iffy I think they can cover a small number here vs Indiana.
NC State -11 over PITTSBURGH
NC State will come out with a pep in their step after Clemson went down to Syracuse as they see a division title in their division as a very realistic possibility. Pitt just isn’t very good and has a big issue at quarterback. I see NC State winning BIG!
MISSISSIPPI -3 over Vanderbilt
Even though Mississippi has gotten destroyed the past few weeks I mean look who they have played? Bama, Auburn, Cal and well Vandy isn’t on that level. I think Mississippi can win at home here and cover a small number.

NFL GAMES
Detroit +4 over NEW ORLEANS
I like the Lions a lot this year and I think they are a good little team. I see this game as a field goal game either way, so take the points here. In fact the wrong team may be favored in my opinion.
Miami +12 over ATLANTA
While I don’t think Miami will win, I do think they will keep it under 12. Even if its a back door cover.
Green Bay -3 over MINNESOTA
The Vikings offense is a dumpster fire right now and just so bad. GB is coming off a big win and they will keep the momentum going this week and win on the road and cover the number.
JACKSONVILLE -2.5 over LA Rams
I may be the last person in America still not sold on the Rams and the Jags are starting to grow on me. The number is low here, Jags are at home, I think they win this game and will cover.
