On today’s show we talk about how the Jarvis Landry situation with the Miami Dolphins continues to get worse by the day. New reports out that Landry is telling friends and associates that he doesn’t see himself signing a long-term deal in Miami. How Landry’s inner-circle has come to terms with the fact he will be playing elsewhere in Miami. Plus we talk about what really set Landry off and why this situation has gotten progressively worse over the last week. We also talk about why the Transition Tag isn’t in play for the Dolphins to use on Landry. We also get into the Baltimore Sun report of the Ravens and Dolphins were discussing a Landry trade during the season and why it went bad. Plus, we at DolphinsTalk.com got a little scoop from a source off the record at what position the Miami Dolphins will NOT use the #11 draft pick on in this April’s draft.

Gase, by shipping Landry to another team you getting yourself to be fired sooner than you think .
Looks like Gase was hired to dismantle the dolphins and ship the best players to other teams . Finding another receiver like Landry will take few years specially with the 3 stooges who are in charge of the drafting.
Ross wake up and get hold of your team . This Kid you hired is not Don Shula and never will be .
What concerns me with Adam Gase and most young Head Coaches is they haven't got the leadership skills of an older wiser person. You can be a genius play caller for either side of the ball but that doesn't mean you have the leadership skills to deal with 60 millionaire men as men. He beginning to strike me as someone who will let his personal feelings get in the way of what may be best for the team. Every year he will have another 20 or so new players he is trying to integrate into another team and it's this sort of skills that become more important as a Head Coach more so than your knowledge of the game itself.
Awesome week of shows. Your podcast has gone to a new level of late and its been amazing. It is really sad to see Landry go but that's the way this looks to be headed.
A few weeks ago I was so pissed at the news Landry might leave. Now I have to the understanding that he probably isn't returning and I am a combination of sad and depressed and angry all at the same time. As you keep saying on the podcast with each show and you are 100% spot on which is why I always listen to your show. How did the Dolphins let it get this bad? How did they let it get this far? How wasn't Landry locked up to a long term deal last year? I just don't get it.
I am stunned Miami is going to lose Landry and not pay him. Why am I a fan of this team?
Been a dolphins fan since I was 4 years old, this is not the team I feel in love with, Ross is making this team become a horrible franchise to just let 2 pro bowl players walk in same year because gase has a problem with them, they could have signed landry last year and probably for 2-3 mil a year cheaper but no they let him ride his contract out and broke the receiving records that right there drove his asking price up, hes never been hurt..but watch will sign parker to a 60mil deal and he will be hurt 3 out of the 4 years we have him signed, thats not even close to what we have been though as fans watching players leave our organization to go to another organization and Excel there. PLAYER evaluation something dolphins need to learn to do better of, that's the problem with Ross he's a business man, needs to sell team to someone that cares about football, so the dolphins can start being contenders again look at our record pass 10 years same shit over and over because this organization keeps doing the stupid stuff over and over again signing washed up over 30 year old players and letting young pro bowl player just leave without getting anything in return time for this franchise turn shit around or loose a lot of fans us as fans are getting fed up!!!!look at comment above and I'm with that person I wonder the same thing everytime this organization does a dumbass move why am i still a fan of this organization?? Hopefully they can prove me wrong and turn it around so I can stay a phin fan..rant over phins up!! Prove me wrong !!
Miami is not the problem Landry is. How does a slot receiver who played slot in college and now in the pros ask for #1 receiver pay. That's crazy. He is not in the same class of receivers like Jones, Hopkins, or odel, ect. Who are getting paid 14 to 16 mil a year. We are offering him 12 million a year and he won't take it. He thinks that he is the best player on our team and says the rest of the team and his teamates are shit. What i saw this year was 3 fumbles that cost us games, one ejection and 4 unsportsmen like penalties that cost us 4 touch downs. Let the deva walk and go to the Giants ware he will play as a number 2 or slot receiver like he did in college in Odel Beckem
Great show as always and lots of good information. I too am stunned they are letting Landry just walk away for a stinking comp pick in 2019. I really don't get it.
THANK GOD I FOUND THIS PODCAST!!! There are so many crappy Fins podcasts out there and this one is so good. Finally some actual insight into the team and actual intellectual talk about the Dolphins. So happy I stumbled across this podcast. You have a new fan in me!
Like others have said, I am shocked the Dolphins are just going to let Landry walk. I am shocked by the reports I read. The reporters covering it have done great work in getting the info (so have you guys here on this site by the way with your little tidbits from the people you know around Landry) but it really is amazing how this Dolphins organization drops the ball time and time again with great players. I'm sure that 2019 4th or 3rd round comp pick will be wasted on our next Michel Egnew. Totally unbelievable that Landry is all but gone.
Maybe put Grant in the slot and see if he can destroy the secondary with his speed.
