We
all saw that Jarvis Landry has been traded to the Cleveland Browns for some not
so great draft picks and overall the Dolphins made a mistake in trading Landry
but that is now behind us. Free agency hasn’t started yet and the Dolphins just
opened some cap space with the Landry trade and with the solid Defensive Line already
in place I think after a couple trades this team can have a pretty balanced
roster by the time the season starts.

This
is a Dolphins team who needs some help on the offensive line and I feel that
should be the team’s first priority in this year’s draft and we should draft
Offensive Lineman Quenton Nelson out of Notre Dame and possibly wait for the
2nd Round to pick up either Quarterback such as Lamar Jackson (If he falls to us) or
even Mason Rudolph who I really think is underrated. Because Mason is a solid quarterback
and will very likely fall to the 2nd Round.

Kenny
Stills is one heck of a receiver that does a lot in the offense and will rise
as the Dolphins #1 Wide Receiver in 2018 alongside DeVante Parker who is a
gifted player who if he can stay healthy will be a weapon. At the running back position,
we need to pair someone with Kenyan Drake and I don’t think that will be a
problem to find that person via free agency or the draft. Same with tight end
as well.

As
I said earlier on the defensive line is stacked if the team keeps Suh alongside
Robert Quinn and Cameron Wake. Linebacker is a need that has to be addressed this
offseason and in the draft. We know Miami needs help at linebacker and it is a
priority this offseason. Overall though with the salary cap space Miami opened
by trading Landry the team should be able to become more balanced and use that
$15.92 million in many ways to improve the team and the depth of the team
across the board. Hopefully they sign the right guys to make the Miami Dolphins
Great Again.

Not a fan of this plan. We need to push Tannehill with top tier competition and get Mayfield Allen or Rosen. We're entering year 7 of the turn Tannehill into a QB plan. We've gotten what there is to get out of him. Even better just trade him and get the best QB available so we can become a dominant team again this decade. Take the big TE Andrews in round two then get Guice or Chubb if they are still there. In FA get Nate Solder and move Tunsil back to G. In Fa also pick up Zach Brown. Re do Suhs contract to give us a little room this year and cut him next year. So, if you follow my plan you now have the QB of the future, a dominant running game, a TE that is a top five endzone threat and we've stabilized both Oline and LB. In addition we now have a more dominant DL with Harris in year two and Quinn allowing us to use Wake in the first half before he's gassed.
" Re do Suhs contract to give us a little room this year and cut him next year."
Well thats just a horrible idea. Redo his contract, so you can sign some high paid FAs, then cut suh and his restructured contract?
You realize restructuring it wont make it easier to cut him, like it didn't in 2016 when we restructured him already.
Im shocked you think fixing the oline and especially LB is as simple as signing a FA, something we been doing every year for years (not exaggerating).
I don't think Suh's contact CAN be re-done. I believe when it was made that it was written in that only one (1) amendment could be made over the life of the contract in order to give cap relief; that was accomplished in2016 so the contract is what it is. I could be wrong though, but I thought this was the language used when it was created.
you are truly clueless if you think tbum has a master plan up his sleeve. do you believe in santa claus too ? scheesh, talk about being a greenhorn, its you dude.
Maybe the Dolphins shouldn't rely on Tannenbaum and his "master plan" anymore. Instead of releasing Tannehill, Suh, Pouncey, Wake, etc, the Dolphins organization should focus on releasing Tannenbaum and hiring somebody that actually has a concrete " master plan" for this team going forward.
Tannenbaum had a "master plan" when he was with the jets too. It included trading up for Mark Sanchez and then when he bombed extending his contract. That plan got him fired. I hope his "master plan" has the same result.
Tannenbomb is a plant from the Jets organization to keep us non-competitive. Doing what he does best. Internal degradation as per the time spent in new York. That's their "secret weapon" against us and it's working.
What has he ever done.. except make owners buy into fairy tales ?
If the doctors are giving Tannehill the green light there is no reason to draft a QB with a premium pick unless a QB falls to them. Even in that scenario the Fins would probably be better off trading down with a QB starved team for extra picks. The Fins need to continue taking BPA and maneuver up or down to align with solid OLB, TE, and OLine prospects. a second solid draft in a row will put the team's floor for next season at 8-8. If the Fins can hit on a late round prospect or a cheap free agent they are looking at a wildcard birth.
I will throw up if we take Lamar Jackson and celebrate to no end of the Jets take him. He will not be a starting QB in the NFL!
The Doctors are giving Tannehill the green light? That's great but lets face it, he wasn't all that when he was in great shape. The Fins haven't been all that since Dan Marino. It's time to move on from Tannehill. I've been screaming it at the TV for 5 years.
Not having Landry on the team it wasn’t Tanebums idea. That was all Gase . He can’t handle any player who has a winning attitude. The money was an excuse. This stupid coach have no business to be a head coach . He is a kid trying to play as a big shut coach . He should have been hired as an assistant to a quarterback coach . Last time that Miami got to playoffs it was because of Landry and Ajayi.
Tannehill is another disaster that everybody is in love with . I don’t understand when enough is enough .
This year we will be lucky if we win more than 5 or 6 games . I am sure next year all the fans and the front office will come with another excuse for Tannehill for why he didn’t play good . Probably they say because Landry was not playing with Miami anymore.
This is the year to take a quarterback,if thill is cleared to play all the better let Mason Rudolph push him through camp and into season, if not preforming to up to ability once again we bring. In Rudolph after bye will give him great experience to better prepare to lead us into future leaving thill as his backup this year then put thill on the market next year with little to no dead cap space, if we find a trade partner even better. Plus stop gase from bringing in has been that have played for him before
I agree with a good bit of what you said. Not really a believer in tannenbaum at all. But I believe that there are other quarterbacks in the draft that are more underrated than Rudolph. Benkert Is the QB I think the Dolphins ought to look at. He will not go high in the draft and I believe he is truly talented and does not have behavioral issues like Mayfield.
Kyle Lauletta. Going to be the best QB to come out of this draft. So we could trade down twice and still get him, plus wind up with three or four extra 2nd and 3rd picks to play with.
We should Draft a QB but not in the first round. We should take Luke Falk in the second round and Matt Moore should be cut. In the first we should take the best LB available. Then in the third round we should take the best TE available with the fourth round being all about the OL. After that its all BPA.
