Per the Palm Beach Post the son of legendary Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino has been arrested for a DUI that took place 1:30 am last Friday morning in Fort Lauderdale. Michael Marino, who is 30 years old, was stopped roughly a half of mile from his home with a blood alcohol level of .208 and .210. The legal limit is .08.
On Tuesday, Michael Marino posted a $1,500 bail bond and entered a not guilty plea in court. According to the arresting officer he said he immediately noticed Marino had bloodshot, glassy eyes and an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person and the interior of the vehicle.” According to the officer, Marino was “slow to react or respond to any questions” and described his speech as slurred and said he was wobbly when he got out of the vehicle. MIchael Marino who works as a professional DJ as “DJ One Trey,” a reference to his father’s uniform number for the Miami Dolphins and the University of Pittsburgh — failed a field DUI test and refused to partake in additional screenings.
