Oof. It wasn’t a great week last week going 2-2 and missing my first lock pick of the week on Ohio St/TCU under 59. 1-2 again in the NFL games brings me to 2-4 in those such games. Time to turn it around. 4 college games and 3 NFL:

COLLEGE PICKS

Wake Forest (+6.5) vs Notre Dame

The Irish have not won a game handily all season, with their biggest margin of victory being 8 against a lowly Ball St team. Wake Forest have show the ability to be very balanced on offense averaging over 500 yards in their 3 games. History of this season is pointing the arrow to the home under dogs.

West Virginia (-16.5) vs Kansas St

West Virginia is coming off an early season bye week with higher expectations as they open up their Big 12 schedule. Will Grier has the offense firing on all cylinders and their defense will look to stay aggressive against a so-so offense in Kansas St. Mountaineers should win big here

Auburn vs Arkansas OVER 57.5

Auburn been more than able to put up points this season but struggled against LSU and Washington. Arkansas is not near any level to those teams. Expect a big first half to get this to go over in the 4th quarter.

Michigan (-18.5) vs Nebraska – Lock Pick of the Week

I am not sure what’s going on in the land of corn but they are just awful. Michigan is finally finding its groove winning by a combined 94-23 in their last two games at home. Covering 18.5 seems like a bargain

Season record 8-4

NFL

Broncos (+5.5) @ Ravens

Broncos travel east to take on the Ravens who have had 10 days to think about their loss to the Bengals. I believe the Broncos defense will keep them in it. I smell a field goal game here.

Vikings vs Bills OVER 40

Has anyone watched the Bills play football this year? If you haven’t, the Ravens dropped 47 and the Chargers let off the gas after scoring 28 points in one half last week. Both their games have gone over due to garbage time TDs late. Vikings defense won’t allow much and the Bills can’t stop anybody

Seahawks (-1.5) vs Cowboys

Seahawks have struggled but so have the Cowboys. Expect better outcome with cooler temperatures and Rashad Penney getting a ton of action to take pressure off Russell Wilson.

Season record 2-4
