I just can’t seem to get the weeks aligned where both are winners.  I have to stop underestimating Alabama, as they crushed LSU in their house.  1-3 last week in CFB but an astounding 3-0 in the NFL last weekend.  (Yes i made a bonus pick, but that doesn’t count in my record 🙂 ).  We have some interesting CFB games to start, let’s get to it!

West Virginia vs TCU OVER 55.5

The Mountaineers are on the verge of a big season.  This should be home cooking today against a vulnerable TCU team who should be good for at least 21 points today.  In WVU wins in 4 of their last 5, they have averaged 45 points, 58 in their last home game against Baylor.  Take the over.

Duke (-10) vs UNC

Duke is coming off a big win in Miami, North Carolina continues to fall apart, dropping to 1-7 after an abysmal game against Georgia Tech at home.  This is definitely a better college basketball rivalry than football.  Duke should win by 3 scores.

Auburn (+14) @ Georgia

The last time these 2 teams played, Georgia took care of Auburn in the SEC Championship game 28-7.  The game a month earlier, Auburn crushed Georgia 40-17.  Look for a tight game today with a defensive slug fest between these 2.

Northwestern (+10.5) @ Iowa – LOCK PICK OF THE WEEK

Iowa is coming off a tough loss last week at Purdue and Northwestern gave Notre Dame all they could handle for 3 quarters last week.  This just screams a one score game to me, which gives the edge to Northwestern and a LOCK of the week.  Take the points!

Chiefs (-16.5) vs Cardinals

It is always a sign of disrespect when an NFL team is giving over 2 touchdowns to another NFL team.  Well, the Cardinals cannot score points and the Chiefs put them up in bunches.  From the dome to the cold midwest, the Chiefs will take this by more than 17 points.

Titans (+7) vs Patriots

It just seems to me that former Bill Bellicheck disciples find their way to beat him.  Matt Patricia made the Patriots look foolish in their match up this year.  Mike Vrabel has a capable defense.  As long as they use last weeks formula on offense to move the football, they should keep this close at home.

Buccaneers (-3) vs Redskins

The Redskins are a battered, beat up offensive team.  The Bucs aren’t very good on defense but they will be able to handle this depleted Redskins team.  Ryan Fitzpatrick will have his way with their defense as well.  Big plays abound.  Take the Bucs giving 3.
