With a push from the lock game of the week, last week, CFB finished at 1-2-1 where the NFL went 2-1 for me.  College Football has some intriguing match-ups this weekend.  The NFL has some great games as well but this is all about picking winners.  Let’s find them for this weeks edition of Gambling Corner:

South Carolina @ Ole Miss UNDER 69
This game has the makings of a shootout, I just don’t like it.  South Carolina is too inconsistent offensively to help drive this score higher.  Both QB’s have shown they are prone to mistakes, it’s also an SEC match up.  69 points just seem way too much.  Take the Under here.
Georgia Tech (-4.5) @ North Carolina
North Carolina has one of the worst run defenses in college football at 191.3 yards per game.  What does Georgia Tech do on offense?  That stupid Triple Option, which will lead them to a convincing victory over a reeling North Carolina team.
South Florida (-6.5) vs Tulane
South Florida took their medicine last week on the road in Houston.  They are back home and get a reeling Tulane team.  Both defenses can’t stop a nose bleed, but only one offense is averaging 500 yards per game.  That’s South Florida.  They should win this big time.
LSU (+14.5) vs Alabama- LOCK PICK OF THE WEEK
Yeah, I am shooting my shot here.  Alabama just seems unbeatable, and that may still be the case.  But this has the makings to be an absolute knockout, slugfest defensively with these 2 squads.  I am a big fan of Burrow keeping this close enough as we may finally see Tua struggle against such an elite defense.  It seems like these games have always been one score games.  Take this, IN A LOCK!

Bears (-10) @ Bills
Nathan Peterman is starting.  That means the Bills offensively  stay putrid against a top 10 defense in the NFL.  The Patriots beat the Bills with a wide variety offense and Tarik Cohen will give the Bills the James White treatment this week, doing it all from run and catch.  Bears should cover.
Dolphins (-2.5) vs Jets
I don’t normally take the Dolphins in this.  But I like the match up.  Home game, sweltering heat of South Florida and coming off 10 days rest.  With Brock Osweiler playing his 4th straight game, he should be comfortable playing at home.  Should be a nail biter between two teams struggling, but the home team gets this done.
Saints vs Rams OVER 58.5
I just envision this game being an absolute shootout between Goff and Brees.  Both offenses feature strong running games and solid WR, while the defenses have been suspect at times.  Payton and McVay will get creative to find ways to put up points, take this one OVER!
BONUS PICK:
Packers (+5.5) @ New England
I think this will be a tight one.  Aaron Rodgers will keep this one close in BradyLand.  I can’t see this one being a blowout for either team.  Take Rodgers and the Packers with the points.
