While I normally agree with you, I couldn’t disagree more with you on this. I think this is a horrible choice. Wasn’t thrilled with Richard either and most definitely not Allen. I will say that at least Richard had three years of experience as a coordinator and was involved in a top-flight defense something that can’t be said of Flores. This whole search was a cluster. Flores has almost no experience in a lead role and comes from a coaching tree that has produced only one that has had any modicum of success. Out of the seven or eight coaches that have come from under Belichick’s wing the only one even close to successful is O’Brien. This team has made nothing but bad choices for the last 20 years and doesn’t appear to be ready to change that trend anytime soon. I have been a fan for almost 46 years and truly don’t believe I will ever see them be successful again.
