He has to know you do not quit on your team and fans. The kids that adore him will be devastated! Its sad, but Athletes are a type of god and are looked up to by our youth. This Sunday you will see how many kids are wearing 29. I was there in the 70s as a child watching and sporting the Jerseys (39 & 22) of my favorite players. Thank god they weren’t quitters. Trust me, there are videos of children finally meeting their sport star one on one. Its heart breaking to watch, it brings happy tears.
