Josh Tolentino of The Athletic is reporting the Miami Dolphins have re-signed one of their own who was on the open market. They have agreed to terms on a 1 year deal with WR Mack Hollins. Terms of the deal have yet to be released.
The #Dolphins have re-signed WR Mack Hollins to a one-year deal, league sources tell @TheAthletic.
Hollins, a special-teams ace known for his gunner responsibilities and pre-game fits, is back for 2021. He was on the receiving end of Ryan Fitzpatrick’s miracle throw at Vegas.

Hollins is known as a special teams ace and his work on that unit but last year in 2020 was thrust into significant playing time at the wide receiver position when numerous Dolphins wide receivers went down to injury. Hollins ended the year with 16 receptions for 176 yards and 1 TD. The most notable play Hollins made last year was his last-second reception vs the Las Vegas Raiders at the end of the game as quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was having his head twisted on a facemask penalty that put Miami in a position to kick the game-winning field goal.
The Dolphins currently have more than 10 wide receivers on their roster at the moment and look to add one or two more in April’s draft. It will be an intense competition this summer in training camp for that group of players to make the Dolphins opening day roster.
The more the merrier. Every receiver knows they better bring their A game or they’ll be cut.
