PICK | OVERALL | TEAM | PROSPECT | POSITION | COLLEGE | REASON |
| 1 | Jacksonville Jaguars | Trevor Lawrence | QB | Clemson | Checks all the boxes for a potential franchise QB |
| 2 | New York Jets | Zach Wilson | QB | BYU | Jets get a fresh face in at QB with massive potential in a spread system |
| 3 | San Francisco 49ers | Justin Fields | QB | Ohio State | 49ers made an aggressive move up the board, they are taking their QB of the future. |
| 4 | Atlanta Falcons | Penei Sewell | OT | Oregon | Even with a year off, Sewell lands as top OT. Matty Ice gets to stay upright his last few years |
| 5 | Cincinnati Bengals | Ja’Marr Chase | WR | LSU | Joe Burrow gets back his top receiver from college. |
| 6 | Miami Dolphins | Devonta Smith | WR | Alabama | Smith gives Tua a weapon he’s familiar with. Elite skill set. |
| 7 | Detroit Lions | Jaylen Waddle | WR | Alabama | Waddle gives Goff a confident weapon who can destroy teams with the ball in his hand |
| 8 | Carolina Panthers | Trey Lance | QB | N. Dakota St | David Tepper has been wanting a franchise QB. He gets one here. |
| 9 | Denver Broncos | Mac Jones | QB | Alabama | Jones may need time to develop. Broncos also may want to get ahead of Carolina on draft night. |
| 10 | Dallas Cowboys | Patrick Surtain II | CB | Alabama | Surtain is an elite on-ball defender. Pressman coverage is his forte. |
| 11 | New York Giants | Kyle Pitts | TE | Florida | Pitts brings another dynamic to an already prospering offense. Can Jones put it together now? |
| 12 | Philadelphia Eagles | Micah Parsons | LB | Penn State | While they would want a WR, none are worth this spot. They get an elite defender instead. |
| 13 | LA Chargers | Rashawn Slater | OT | Northwestern | Slater could be the first tackle taken. His tape was just as good as Sewell in 2019. |
| 14 | Minnesota Vikings | Elijah Vera-Tucker | OG | USC | Vikes’ best weapon is running back. This is the best interior lineman in the draft. |
| 15 | New England Patriots | Jaycee Horn | CB | South Carolina | They will need a long-term answer once Gilmore is gone. This pick is a great start |
| 16 | Arizona Cardinals | Najee Harris | RB | Alabama | With only Chase Edmonds worth mentioning, Harris completes this offense. Big year coming for AZ? |
| 17 | Las Vegas Raiders | Christian Darrisaw | OT | Virginia Tech | Raiders let go of their entire OL. This pick is an easy one for them. |
| 18 | Miami Dolphins | Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah | LB | Notre Dame | Perfect replacement for Kyle Van Noy as Miami’s defense gets faster/better |
| 19 | Washington Football Team | Jaelean Phillips | DE | Miami (FL) | Ron Rivera can’t help himself here. Phillips has a high upside to an already aggressive defense. |
| 20 | Chicago Bears | Caleb Farley | CB | Virginia Tech | He’s had injury problems, but he is a heck of an athlete. Replaces Kyle Fuller right away |
| 21 | Indianapolis Colts | Teven Jenkins | OT | Oklahoma St | Need a pass protector for Wentz. Jenkins can play on either side of the LOS in a pass-happy offense |
| 22 | Tennessee Titans | Rashod Bateman | WR | Minnesota | The window is closing for Titans. Getting a weapon to pair with AJ Brown is vital. |
| 23 | New York Jets | Kwity Paye | DE | Michigan | Paye has a high ceiling and Robert Saleh wants to build him up to reach his vast potential. |
| 24 | Pittsburgh Steelers | Travis Etienne | RB | Clemson | Steelers have Ben for at least one more season. Adding Etienne adds a new element to the offense |
| 25 | Jacksonville Jaguars | Samuel Cosmi | OT | Texas | Adding your QB of the future means you need help upfront. Cosmi may play on the right side. |
| 26 | Cleveland Browns | Jayson Oweh | DE | Penn State | Oweh may be rotational to start, but he has a big-time motor who can wreck opposing offenses. |
| 27 | Baltimore Ravens | Azeez Ojulari | DE | Georgia | Ravens need to add more to their pass rush. Ojulari will learn from some of the best coaches in BAL |
| 28 | New Orleans Saints | Greg Newsome II | CB | Northwestern | Saints add someone with size, speed which is needed in NFC South |
| 29 | Green Bay Packers | Terrence Marshall | WR | LSU | Packers finally give ARod a skill player to take some heat off Devante Adams |
| 30 | Buffalo Bills | Erik Stokes | CB | Georiga | Stokes gives Bills a very good prospect. Great defensive minds can push him to be all-around CB |
| 31 | Kansas City Chiefs | Kadarius Toney | WR | Florida | Sure, add more speed to this potent offense. Toney and Hill will be miserable for defenses. |
| 32 | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Christian Barmore | DT | Alabama | Bucs add a luxury pick in Barmore, who can learn from Suh and Vea |
Great work. Lance seems to fit the SF offense a little better, but if SF moves up for Mac Jones as rumored it will reset the draft significantly. If so, ATL picks up Justin Fields, Cincy picks up Sewell, and Miami takes calls from Carolina and Denver for Trey Lance. In this scenario I think MIA can get the best deal from Carolina, pick up their first with a 4th and 6th round this year and a first next year as the bid escalates. Carolina picks Lance, Detroit picks Chase. Miami can select Pitts now. Denver snags Surtain to complete their defensive needs. Dallas needs D help, Parsons is the top pick for a team that has to stop the run and get pressure on the QB. NYG pick up Waddle. Tennessee moves up to get WR Smith and gives PHI their first and third this year, From there I think your picks are true to form until Miami picks again. With Harris off the board, I think Miami trades down to Cleveland for a first and a third this year, Cleveland selects the most athletic DE Paye since they lost out on Watt. Washington has to be looking for a dynamic CB, so Farley comes off the board. Chicago finally adresses their OL issues and draft Darrisaw. The Colts look to pick up a playmaker S and select Moehrig. Philly gets their foundation CB, Horn. The NYJ choose Etienne to reinvigorate their rushing attack. Pittsburgh has so many OL needs they go for their pivot of the future with Humphrey. JAX is hard to read but I think Cosmi is a very good fit on the right side. Miami picks Bateman, the second most accomplished route runner in this draft, physical enough to play the slot. Oweh drops to Baltimore, NO surprises with Marshall, GB picks up Toney, Buffalo gets high rising Owosu Karamoah, KC picks Barmore and TB gets Rousseau. Top of Round 2 Jax selects CB Newsome, NYJ select OT Jenkins, ATL picks ED J Phillips, Miami would love to pick up Collins here but have to commit to a strong, nimble RB for the interior, so Williams from NC is their choice. Later in Round 2 I see Miami targetting either Meinerz or Cleveland at C/G.
