Peter King dismantled Mike Florio, and frankly could not believe how stupid of an argument Florio attempting to make. The look on King’s face as the segment continues was hilarious. One could see how stupid he thought Florio was making himself look. King continued to try and throw the drowning Florio a float on why his comment showed ignorance, but Florio continued to throw it back as in saying. “No, I want everyone to know how dumb I truly am”.

We have exactly the reason why the Dolphins must draft Lance if he falls to them at 6 – Peter King actually solidifies the counterpoint here. Lance costs one pick, and then they can trade tua if need be, or let the best man win as they have continually said they will do for each position. How is the most valuable position on the field, the QB, any different and not merit that same philosophy? Is Tua made of porcelain? It isn’t as to the former and neither is he regarding the latter. Now if they don’t take Lance or Fields, and Tua isn’t the guy, who lets face it, is kinda looking that way a little bit right now – you have to spend 2-3 draft positions to go and get another qb – the draft capital of being wrong is colossal. So, lose one piece of draft equity, or three, all for what, not challenging Tua to make sure he’s the guy, the way you do for literally every position on the field? If you love Fields and Lance, you have to make the qb pick at 6. Otherwise you risk 3 picks, for what, protecting a kid’s psyche? Sorry, it’s the big leagues, you have to compete and be better than the next man, you can’t hide your qb, or worry about his psyche. It guarantees this organization’s figure, and is simply a no brainer.

Everybody wants the “new” guy. To waste a 1st rd pick on another rookie qb is foolish. What you do, is put folks around him that will protect him and get him some weapons. We got 2 picks in the first. No reason to blow one on a guy that played 7-8 gms under f’ng sorry ass Chan Gailey!
