Colin Cowherd of Fox Sports says it doesn’t matter if Brian Flores believes in Tua and hasn’t lost faith in him if the players on the team do not have faith in him. Cowherd goes on to say Coach Flores is telling people to believe in something their eyes aren’t seeing.
Cowherd: Flores Might Not Have Lost Confidence in Tua; But Players Have

I’ll just ignore this. I trust flores.

This guy… Moron.
Tua was below average last year for a bunch of reasons, while he was being compared to FitzMagic who was above average.
Rookies typically struggle and don’t light up the league. Peyton Manning’s rookie year wasn’t so great; there is a learning curve.
*******
Tua was better than Tannehill. He is an accurate passer. He won a bunch of games. He is efficient. He is good with using the dink-and-dunk to avoid pressure.
Tua was not a gunslinger last year. On a gunslinger scale, he was probably bottom 5. Fitzmagic by comparison did this well. With the same all rookie offensive line. If Tua can’t learn to complete some deep balls, especially to Waddle, he’s going to have a short career.
I think Brissett is no Fitzpatrick. It’s Tua’s job to lose, and he’s in a much better position this year, with some experience under his belt.
Lastly, all qb’s have some bad games each year… unless you’re a hall of famer like Tom Brady; they just do. Tua saved his worst for last… which left a bad taste. But it’s still just 1 bad game. It’s a new season… it no longer counts.
Your a bum! colin get a clue, anybody watching this do not listen to this man! He is a prime example of an enigma the league currently struggles with. The one in which the media influences the fans to believe a certain way so strongly that it causes teams and organisations to act based on fan outrage. Its bewildering honestly too see from an outside perspective both as a fan and a athlete$
