Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reporting free agent safety Malik Hooker is visiting the Miami Dolphins today and could be a post-draft addition to the Dolphins roster.

If the Dolphins were to add Hooker on top of drafting Jevon Holland in the 2nd round on Friday night, it would be a sign that one or both of Bobby McCain and Eric Rowe could be on their way out of Miami. If the Dolphins release Bobby McCain they would open up $6 million in salary-cap space roughly. If they let go of Eric Rowe that would open up roughly $5 million in salary-cap space.

Hooker only played in 2 games in 2020. He tore his Achilles tendon and missed the rest of the season. In 2019 he played in 13 games, started all 13 and had 2 interceptions.
