Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf filled in as the guest host on The Rich Eisen Show Friday and gave his thoughts and opinions on Rd 1 of the NFL draft. He lists five teams that made a mistake in Round 1 and has the Miami Dolphins at the top of the list with their selection of Jaylen Waddle. Did he even watch the Dolphins last year? Dolphins had no speed receivers. The offensive line wasn’t the biggest issue and they started 3 rookies. He wasn’t getting knocked around. His receivers weren’t getting open

Where I disagree is the two top projected OTs didn’t play in 2020. The draft grades came from 2019. Are teams really supposed to make a top 10 pick on OL with two players who didn’t play a real game in 2020? The draft is riddled with OL talent. Tua and Jaylen have a relationship. Burrow and Chase have a relationship. You can build the lines with FAs and later rounds.
