Training camp is a few weeks away so I want to break out my pre-training camp NFL POWER RANKINGS! Yes, this is very early and a lot can and will change by the time we get to Week 1 of the NFL season. There will be injuries and trades that will cause me to shuffle this list prior to Week 1 of the NFL Season. Don’t send me your hate mail as it is the first week of July and I will update my power rankings throughout training camp and the preseason games during the summer. I know Dolphins die-hards will think I have the Fins ranked too low and the Tua haters will think I have them ranked too high. I figure if both groups hate my ranking of them and where I have them on this power ranking list, then my ranking is probably pretty spot on!
So without any further ado and heading into training camp this is how I see the landscape of the NFL.
1.Kansas City: They are off back-to-back Super Bowl apperances and they fixed their one weakness. They enter 2021 as the favorites.
2. Tampa Bay: They are still a loaded team and they have the GOAT at quarterback.
3. Buffalo: Pains me to have them this high but on paper, they don’t have many (if any) weaknesses.
4. Cleveland: They improved the secondary and defensive line and I think year two for Mayfield in that offense will make them better in 2021 than they were in 2020.
5. LA Rams: Matthew Stafford will have the Rams back in Super Bowl contention.
6. Seattle: This team is still loaded and Russell Wilson, unhappy or not, is an elite quarterback.
7. Green Bay: This is all under the assumption that Aaron Rodgers shows up and actually plays.
8. Baltimore: Week in and week out they are a tough team to beat.
9. Tennessee: The offense is loaded, but that defense needs to prove they are legit.
10. Arizona: Lots of big names and lots of big expectations in 2021.
11. LA Chargers: They got Herbert help on the offensive line and the defense should be improved. I think he proves last year was no fluke.
12. Miami: The Dolphins offense got a lot more firepower and the defense (as long as Xavien Howard is there) is still very very good. I think a lack of a dependable running game will hurt the offense and Tua some.

13. Minnesota: This team has big-time weapons on offense, it comes down to can they play well on defense.
14. Indianapolis: Going from Rivers to Wentz will hurt this team in 2021.
15. Washington: I think Fitzmagic will finally lead a team to the playoffs.
16. Pittsburgh: Team has a lot of talent but just is missing something. AFC North has gotten tougher too.
17. New England: Team has a lot of talent, they just don’t have a QB you can trust.
18. New Orleans: See above!
19. Denver: See the previous two above!

20. Dallas: If Dak is back at 100% the offense is scary good. Defense is another story.
21. NY Giants: Team is better than they were last year but to me is just a run-of-the-mill NFL team. Good but not great.
22. Atlanta: I think even with the loss of Julio the offense will be good, can they stop anybody though?
23. Las Vegas: In any other division they would be more competitive. In the AFC West having to play those other 3 teams twice, good luck and god’s speed!

24. Philadelphia: I just don’t see it with the Eagles.
25. Cincinnati: Improving team who will make strides, but damn that is a tough division they are in.
26. San Francisco: If they go to Trey Lance in September this will be one of the worst teams in 2021. I think they don’t go to Lance through till November. Once again, a killer division.
27. Carolina: They lost a few pieces and I have zero confidence in Sam Darnold.
28. Chicago: Dalton or Fields, this team will suck!
29. Jacksonville: Lawrence will be the real deal but he has no help around him.
30. NY Jets: Not a fan of Zach Wilson at all. He will struggle mightily as a rookie.
31. Detroit: They suck.
32. Houston: They suck even more!
Good call with rankings, but I take Phins at 10. They are better than Arizona and Chargers, beat them both last year in fact, if ya’ll recall. Those teams may have improved a tad, but so have Phins. The others are spot on the money.
The fact that you call anyone that doesn’t worship at the alter of Tua “Tua haters” and you call the Tua worshipers Dolphins die-hards is a bit concerning. Your assessment of New England would fit the Dolphins: Team has a lot of talent, they just don’t have a QB you can trust. I think your positioning of around 12th pace is about right though.
