Talking heads having fun with Tua as not named a Captain. Simms, Floria, Cowturd, wow. Big deal. Maybe everyone in Phins-landia just want Tua to earn his stripes. What the heck is wrong with that ? I like that.
Off of last year, did he earn the right or the accolades to be named a Captain ? No. So why then, after just a camp and preseason, give him that accolade or whatever you wish to call it. Earn it. That is perhaps the player’s message. No problem with this and I think he will earn it. This also shows that there are other components to a team. The oIine and Jesse Davis, vet of the trenches, intensity guy like Elandon Roberts personalizing the defense, being named. Mack Hollins, worker, gritty special teamer, being named. It’s not all about Tua. It is team. The players voting are probably tired of Tua media and hype. This is an indication for him to “earn it”. He will and all the pundits will shut up, all the players will have his respect.
Man can we drop this captain thing. Who gives a freaking care who is named captain. You got 53 players on a team. Everyone can’t be named a captain. Period!…Colin Cowherd absolutely hates Tua. For what reason I have no idea. I have never heard one good thing from him about Tua.
