ESPN’s Jeff Darlington and Rich Eisen discuss the Dolphins’ interest in trading for embattled Texans QB Deshaun Watson, and if Tua Tagovailoa is truly Miami’s quarterback of the future.
ESPN’s Jeff Darlington Talks Tua, Deshaun Watson & Dolphins with Rich Eisen

Makes no sense for Phins, makes doubly no sense for Texans either to trade Watson now. For Phins, why in the world would you give up all of 3 first rounders, 2 second rounders, with all the legal issues pending ? Phins cannot be that dumb. Tua is playing well and winning over his teammates, big year coming with his new toys. If he is not, then there are options for next year, either using a 1st rounder for a new QB, or even going after Watson prior to the next draft. For Texans, they just need to pay Watson for the year, the $10.4M, then hold and hope that all legal issues are cleared in the next 6-7 months, then their asset is ‘shiny” again, his value up again, and there will be another QB carousel as always at the start of the new year, new teams in the mix to work with and the Texans will have gained leverage to make the best trade for their organization, know what picks they can get, etc. Please stop the rumors now for Pete’s sake, makes no sense. All media hyperbole to stir shxt up. Teams are not that stupid, even the Texans.
