Chris Simms has respect for Miami after its home win against Buffalo, but at no point watching the game did he think that the Dolphins are better than the Bills, and believes Josh Allen is being asked to do too much.
Bills fought hard, much respect–but what the heck? Lots of excuses for Buffalo on this show. You should have asked the moth for help analyzing the game. Buffalo didn’t execute when it counted. Miami corraled Diggs, stopped the run, and harassed Allen all day, and missed a LOAD of interceptions, any one of which would have helped correct the number of plays discrepancy and possibly the scoring differential. When you go back to figure out why the Bills lost, you will see that Miami players we’re cramping and getting injured too–and that MIA was shuffling linemen all over and their work in progress offensive line (horrible grades for Little and Eich) still BESTED the Bills. Boyer has been criticized for some of his D calls in this game, but 7 losses to the Bills taught him some lessons and with a little tinkering of the D and some sunshine, our D shut the buzzsaw down. You heard the announcers, Buffalo had to punt for the first time, they trailed for the first time, etc.–the vaunted OFFENSE of the Bills failed thanks to our D! Allen and Tua are classy dudes. Sorry about that groin moment Josh, that was about as cool as Milano’s late push on Tua. That Bills OC meltdown was classic!!! It was a brutal game–I haven’t had this much hope since Dan was behind center. Finally a team worth paying for satellite TV to watch. My only complaint was that Miami should have max protected in the end zone and run 10 more secs off the clock before taking a safety and booting the ball. I know I am being picky, but butt punting seems a little risky.
Here’s hoping the fins hydrate hard and go stomp Burrow so we can see Simms struggle to discount your work next week too!
Fins WAY up.
Ps. Anyone else think Bridgewater look disinterested in the game? I thought he played like hot garbage off the bench.
