The Dolphins went to 4-3 on Sunday Night in a game that went down to the wire with a victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Like all games we have our weekly STOCK UP/STOCK DOWN report. Some new names on the list this week, so let’s get right to it.

Stock Up

Noah Igbinoghene: Give the kid his moment, he has had a rough first two and a half seasons in the NFL, but he makes the game-winning play to seal the game. Yes, Pittsburgh picked on him most of the game and had success throwing at him, but this league is about “impact plays,” and Noah had the most significant “impact play” of the night. Feel really good for the kid.

Raheem Mostert: There is no longer any doubt Mostert is the clear-cut #1 running back. 16 carries for 79 yards and 4.9 YPC. 4 receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown. This offense is different when Mostert isn’t on the field at running back. He is a difference-maker.

Trent Sherfield: 3 receptions for 44 yards, and Trent is showing that if teams are going to take away Hill and Waddle, he can step up and make a play. Trent has been a pleasant surprise this season thus far, and I think he can continue to become a bigger contributor as the season goes on.

Stock Down

Mike McDaniel: His worst performance by far as head coach. Poor clock management at the end of the first half, end of the game, and then passing on a chip shot field goal to go up nine and make it a two-score game to instead go for it on 4th down and fail to convert was mind-boggling.

Chase Edmonds: His season started so strong the first three weeks, and then that drop early against Cincinnati happened, and he has yet to recover. More drops tonight, and he only averaged 2.4 YPC. I like his skill set, but he isn’t producing.

Liam Eichenberg; Not sure how much lower his stock could drop, but he was called for two more penalties tonight, and I don’t know how in good faith, this coaching staff can continue to throw him out there as the starting left guard each week. It may be time for a change.
