That loss was 100% on Tua Tagovailoa. The really frustrating thing is that it was 100% psychological. Tua was seeing ghosts he was seeing a pass rush that didn’t exist the majority of the game he got nervous and it cost them the game. What people don’t realize is this has happened before in the Steeler game. I’ve been saying it all season Tua is the weakest link in the offense. He has been solely responsible for leaving a TON off points off the board. In almost every game I can think of including their wins he’s missed what should’ve been touchdowns when Hill and Waddle were wide open and he underthrew them. I said it at the beginning of the season it was going to cost them games against better teams and that’s exactly what happened. Tua is the weakest link on the offense in fact he actually holds the offense back from running on all cylinders. If this team had a QB that could actually throw more than 40 yards it would be unstoppable they would be scoring 40+ every game. Tua always gets the credit but it ain’t him it’s the receivers and it’s McDaniels offensive system. Whether players wanna admit it or not he’s holding the offense back I would’ve been infuriated losing that game if I was everyone but Tua.
