The Miami Dolphins have hired Joe Kasper from the Philadelphia Eagles as their safeties coach.
Kasper has been with the Eagles for the last two seasons as a quality control coach; prior to that, he was with Duke for three seasons. At Duke, Kasper worked with the quarterbacks and defensive backs. From 2013-14, Kasper served as a player personnel and development assistant with the Cleveland Browns. Dolphins’ Head Coach Mike McDaniel was the wide receivers coach with the Browns in 2014.
Dolphins are hiring Eagles assistant coach Joe Kasper as safeties coach, per source.
Kasper had significant interest elsewhere but chose Miami where he will coach its safeties — a position he coached & played much of his career + learn from new Dolphins DC Vic Fangio.
