Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting the Dolphins are planning on having Jalen Ramsey play this Sunday vs the New England Patriots. How many plays he is on the field for is another story, but per Schefter, Ramsey will be active Sunday when Miami plays the Patriots at Hard Rock Stadium.
In March, Miami will send back a 3rd round draft pick and tight end Hunter Long. Miami gave Ramsey an additional $25 million guaranteed money as part of the trade. Ramsey has two years of fully guaranteed left on his contract now, which averages out at about $20 million per season. In late July at practice, Ramsey injured his knee, causing him to have surgery keeping him out until just last week.
Dolphins are planning for CB Jalen Ramsey to make his return Sunday from the knee injury that he suffered this summer, per sources. Ramsey now is expected to be back on the field three months after his knee surgery, with his Dolphins’ debut coming vs. the Patriots.
