What’s Gone Wrong for the Dolphins and Where Do They Go From Here?
The world of sports is so fickle. One play, one wrong move and the season, a career, a franchise, can go awry. Here are our beloved Miami Dolphins, seemingly all in this year to fight for the division, and now this. Why oh why did Tua think he was Larry Csonka on that running play ? Slide Mr Jiu Jitsu ! WTF ? Anyone could see that coming and yet he didn’t. it was not even a heavy or more stoudt player that hit him, just a DB. God forbid it was a Matt Milano linebacker or someone like that. Ironically, the tackle was from a fellow that was seriously hurt himself, D. Hamelin. So, here are the Dolphins. $50M+ per year invested on Tua and he’s now on IR with another concussion. I was worried to hear that he got slimmer in the offseason to be more ‘mobile’, oh boy, how did that turn out. He was feeling his oats from a couple of earlier runs and now the season is in big trouble. Miami would do well to win one of the next four games Tua will miss. If that is the case, then they are 2-4 with the tougher part of the year still to come. Playoffs ? Playoffs ??? Forget it man. These are fried fish and we are still in September. Season is toast. Maybe so is Tua. Uggggh.
