Schefter Report on Tyreek Hill a Sign Miami Trying to Trade Him

So, for some unknown reason, Adam Schefter is reporting Saturday morning that no teams have called the Dolphins about trading for Tyreek Hill.

Well, it’s a 53-man roster. Can we get an update on the other 52 players and if other teams are calling about them?

The reason I say that is because this is a blatant move by Chris Grier and the Dolphins to leak this news to Schefter that nobody is calling about Tyreek, to let the entire NFL world know that they are waiting for calls and looking to trade him.

It’s a roundabout way to put a player on the trade block, without saying he is officially on the trade block.

So when the phone rings and you get an offer that you like, you can say with a straight face, “We weren’t looking to trade Tyreek, but the offer was too good to pass up.”

With this report out this morning by Schefter, if Tyreek is on the Dolphins roster at Halloween time, I would be stunned.

To me, this is the first sign they are looking to move him ASAP.

Just this past week alone Tyreek was served with court papers being accused of eight instances of domestic violence against his ex-wife and the NFL is currently looking into the situation.

TMZ reported that Tyreek Hill’s ex-wife, Keeta Vaccaro, is claiming more than eight instances of domestic violence in her 17-month marriage to Tyreek Hill per new court documents.

Vaccaro is saying in a new court filing in her divorce case that Hill began to get violent with her in January 2024, two months after they got married.

Per the TMZ Article, Vaccaro says the two were at their guest house in Southwest Ranches, Fla. when Hill went off on her during a conversation about a postnuptial agreement. She says he shoved her to the floor, stood over her, and then ripped off her necklace, causing a cut and a bruise.

Two weeks later, in late January 2024, Vaccaro claims Hill got mad at her while the two were at an Orlando, Fla. hotel. Hill, she wrote in the documents, “violently attacked her, throwing her to the floor, twisting her intimate body parts, ripping her hair out and grabbing anything on her person he could get a hold of.”On February 7, 2024, Vaccaro alleges Hill attacked her again as they were getting ready to leave for the Pro Bowl. Hill “shoved a marijuana cigarette” in her face, she claimed in the docs, “and told her to get her suitcase and get out of the house. [Hill] then threw [her] suitcase out the door and threw [her] out the door, locking it behind her.”In total, Vaccaro says there were eight instances of domestic violence … including one where she says Hill spat on her — and others where she claims he got physical with her while she was pregnant.”You have to wonder with these new court documents if the NFL will step in and suspend Tyreek Hill until the situation is sorted out, as the league has cracked down on domestic violence in recent years.

Tyreek Hill is the poster boy of all the Miami Dolphins’ problems. His words, antics, off-the-field activities, social media behavior, and legal situations have become exhausting.

It never ends with Tyreek.

Tyreek Hill is no stranger to making headlines. Below is a list of some of the headlines Hill has made off the field.

Tyreek Hill was investigated for battery against his 3-year-old son.

Tyreek Hill was in court on two different paternity suits in 2024, where he claimed he wasn’t the father (SPOILER: he was), and he had to begin paying child support.

Tyreek Hill was pulled over and put in handcuffs prior to the Week 1 game vs Jacksonville this year because he failed to roll down his window for the police.

Tyreek Hill filed divorce papers against his wife, only to claim he didn’t mean to and it was a mistake.

Tyreek Hill went on social media a few years ago saying he was going to retire to be a porn star.

Tyreek Hill had to leave a comedy club in Atlanta because “his boys” were getting into it with another group of men and a brawl was about to take place.

And I should throw in he was the player who quit in the middle of the Week 18 game vs the Jets last season and refused to go back in the game and play, then afterwards told the media he wasn’t sure he wanted to be in Miami.

If it’s not one thing, it’s another.

We will see if the NFL or the Miami Dolphins step in and sit Hill down, or if they look the other way and let him continue to play as this is sorted out.

It honestly could go either way.
