These Teams are the Top Landing spots for De’Von Achane Via Trade, according to Bleacher Report

Miami Dolphins general manager Jon Eric-Sullivan just recently publicly shut down the notion that running back De’Von Achane is available for trade, but that didn’t stop Bleacher Report from revealing a list of what it believes to be the top landing spots for Achane should Miami move on from him. The list includes five teams that are in very contrasting situations, from full-on rebuilds to looking to repeat as Super Bowl champions.

Bleacher Report’s Moe Morton cited the Los Angeles Chargers, New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans, and Washington Commanders all as squads that make a lot of sense to be Achene’s next team.

The Jets and Titans are the two worst teams mentioned, as they’re on the heels of miserable three-win seasons in 2025. Not far ahead of them are the Washington Commanders, who won five games a season ago as quarterback Jayden Daniels was limited to only seven starts.

Let’s move on now to the two squads that could give Achane a real puncher’s chance to advance deep into the playoffs. The Chargers — who have brought on former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel as their offensive coordinator — clinched the AFC West division after winning 11 games on the back of a suffocating defensive unit. Finally, the Seahawks are, of course, the reigning Super Bowl champs and hoping to become the first team to win back-to-back chips since the Kansas City Chiefs.

Achane, a 24-year-old who was drafted in the third round back in 2023, would mark a monumental addition to any team Miami traded him to. In just his third pro season, he staked his claim as one of the top running backs in all of football. He ran for more than 1,300 yards to go along with eight touchdowns and 56 first downs across 16 games played (all starts) with the Dolphins.
