Tom’s Picks

LSU + 3 vs Tennessee

Since their opening day loss, LSU has put together 4 straight.  This will be their toughest test to date.  The Vols come in ranked # 8 and a lot to prove.  They may be overlooking LSU to their big match up next week at Alabama.  I like the Tigers here at home.

Texas vs Oklahoma OVER 65

If this rivalry proves anything, is that defense is optional.  Oklahoma’s defense is at an all time low after a devastating loss last week vs TCU.  Texas’ offense looks potent.  These games trend over the 4 of the last 5 meetings.  No different here.  Take the over.

Texas A&M +27 vs Alabama

I was going to go with another game until the news came out that Bryce Young will not be playing for Alabama.  As good as Bama is, I like the Aggies to cover near 4 touchdowns.  Jimbo has coached Saban tough over the years, with a stunning upset last year.

Tom’s Picks

Buffalo -14 vs Pittsburgh

This is more of a testament to the Bills defense against Kenny Pickett on the road in his first career start.  Steelers defense has been good for the most part, but they will miss TJ Watt big time in this one.  I like the Bills in a blowout.

Chicago vs Minnesota UNDER 44

Have you seen the Bears offense this year?  It has been about as bad as watching the Colts and Broncos on Thursday night.  Their defense however, has been carrying them to wins this year.  I don’t believe they win, but this game will definitely hit the under.  So take it.

Cincinnati +3.5 at Baltimore

The Ravens are banged up and their defense is atroscious.  Joey B dropped near 1000 yards combined in both meetings against the Ravens defense.  I like the Bengals to cover just over a FG.  I also like them to win outright.  Take the Bengals.
