One of the most exciting teams in the NFL is now going to be under the microscope.

According to a tweet from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Miami Dolphins have been selected as the team to be featured on the 2023 season of HBO’s Hard Knocks: In-Season.

Sports Illustrated’s Alain Poupart confirmed Schefter’s report.

HBO’s Hard Knocks was launched in 2001 with a season featuring the Baltimore Ravens and continued in 2002 with the Dallas Cowboys before a five year hiatus. In 2007, the show returned featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and has run consistently since then with only one year off, in 2011. The program is a behind-the-scenes look at training camp with the featured team.

The Miami Dolphins were previously featured by Hard Knocks in 2012, with a highlight including Joe Philbin informing Chad Ochocinco that he was being released.

Hard Knocks In-Season debuted in 2021 with the Indianapolis Colts and continued in 2022 with the Arizona Cardinals. HBO sayid of the 2022 season, “The Emmy winning weekly series will deliver its signature all access coverage to document an NFL franchise in-season and in real time, following the Cardinals as they navigate the challenges of an NFL season and battle to return to the post-season. This in-season edition of Hard Knocks will be the first appearance for the Cardinals as part of the Hard Knocks franchise, which originally launched in 2001.”
