The Dolphins went to San Diego and came away with a thrilling victory. In what was most likely was the most important Dolphins game to date this year the Fins traveled cross country and found a way to come away with a win.

Devante Parker stepped up

Kiko Alonso stepped up

and most importantly…

Ryan Tannehill Stepped Up

Ryan Tannehill played nearly a flawless game and was the main reason the Dolphins won this week. 17 for 24, 240 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was very good when the Dolphins got in the red zone as well. It is also the 4th game in a row where Tannehill hasn’t thrown an interception.

Adam Gase has completely changed the culture of the Miami Dolphins through 10 weeks this season and that is a huge accomplishment. This isn’t the “Same Ole Dolphins” where you expect the doom and gloom to happen. Where you expect the next kick to the nuts to come when the game is on the line. This team fights every play, doesn’t give up, and finds a way to win each week with someone new stepping up each week making the big play. Adam Gase is 100% responsible for this turnaround and it is time he starts getting the credit he deserves.

Some bad news; Branden Albert dislocated his wrist in this game. He is going in for more tests but one would expect his 2016 season is over although Branden is saying he is going to play this week vs LA.  Laremy Tunsil will slide over to left tackle to anchor this line from that position should Albert miss time.

The LA Rams are next and they are an offense in disarray. There are reports that the #1 overall draft pick Jarod Goff will get his 1st start of his career this upcoming week. With the Rams scoring only 9 points this week you would have to think that story is true. Next weeks game comes down to how the Dolphins offensive line can block the Rams defensive line. The Rams defense is legit and very good. Miami will need to block that unit and find a way to give Tannehill time and Ajayi running room.
