3-1 in college football last week.  I severely underestimated Notre Dame and their new starting QB.  Stanford just couldn’t keep up.  The NFL?  1 is the loneliest number it seems as another 1-2 week hits.  Time for week 6.  You know the drill.  This week, I PROMISE, the NFL will have a winning record.  If not.. well… I will try again next week:

College Football:

LSU (-2) @ Florida

Florida has been more consistent and won a dog fight against Miss. St last week.  LSU hasn’t had many close games this year, except for the Auburn game.  LSU should take this game on the road by a field goal.  I expect this to be low scoring game (typical SEC match up)

Miami FL (-14) vs Florida State

This might be a homer pick from me, but I just don’t see any good from Florida State.  They struggle on defense and their offense is sluggish.  Miami with Perry at QB and Dee Jay Dallas running the ball, the Canes have had more explosive plays.  I would pick FSU with the points if they started Malik Rosier, that isn’t happening.  The Canes at home BIG.

Auburn @ Miss St UNDER 44

Auburn has surrendered 12.6 points per game in 5 games.  Miss St has surrendered 13.4 points per game in their 5 games.  The math is easy with this one.  Take the under.

Wisconsin -(17.5) vs Nebraska- LOCK PICK OF THE WEEK

Nebraska’s struggles under Scott Frost is well documented.  Wisconsin has an elite RB who will help Wisconsin control the clock and just wear down Nebraska.  I don’t see this one being close from the start.  Scott Frost wish he never left “The National Champion” UCF

Season Record 13-7

NFL:

Bills (+5.5) vs Titans

I despise the Bills offense.  But defensively, they have shown promise with McDermott back handling play calling duties.  The Titans are banged up and are on the road in a hostile environment.  I like the Bills to cover, but still lose eventually.

Broncos @ Jets UNDER 42.5

Jets will be without Trumaine Johnson this week which is a nightmare for the Jets defense with Emmanuel Sanders, Courtland Sutton and Demayrius Thomas coming to town.  Both QB’s are struggling mightily, which will turn this game into a dog fight.  The under seems promising.

Raiders (+5.5) @ Chargers

Chargers are struggling, as they traditionally do out of the gate.  The Raiders are coming off a slug fest with the Browns which saw them get their first win.  In a divisional game, I think the Raiders will at least lose by a field goal, which makes the spread appealing.

Season Record 4-8
