With the Dolphins’ quarterback room being depleted at the moment, Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting the Dolphins are on the verge of signing veteran quarterback Mike Glennon to its practice squad today. Glennon was a 3rd round pick in the 2013 draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has played for Tampa, Oakland, NY Giants, Chicago, Arizona, and Jacksonville. Glennon was the starting quarterback last season when Miami hosted the Giants at Hard Rock Stadium.
If Teddy Bridgewater is unable to serve as the backup quarterback this Sunday when Miami plays the Jets, there is a chance Glennon could be elevated to the #2 quarterback position.
With the Dolphins preparing to be without Tua Tagovailoa and Teddy Bridgewater dealing with a dislocated pinkie, Miami is signing veteran QB Mike Glennon to its practice squad, per source.
