FOX Sports Radio personality Colin Cowherd who has been a huge advocate and supporter of Tua for over a year now and in the lead-up to the NFL draft and Miami’s selection of Tua has suddenly changed his tune. He is now questioning if Tua can be successful in the NFL.
Cowherd is an idiot. All of the sudden, he has an epiphany a few days before Tua starts. The boy is going to be fine. Let him learn, take his lumps, and watch him grow. Tua is still the most promising addition to our quarterback room in a long, long time.
The Fins had a decent shot at making the playoffs this year with the team gelling around Fitz. I hope this perhaps premature change doesn’t nix them. The pressure to change probably did not come from the coach. Ownership wanted to see a return on their big investment. Brady didn’t play right away and he’s pretty decent a couple of years later.
Good luck. Miami!

I wouldn’t take C. Cowherd or any national media outlets serious right now because they’re trying to manifest drama. The Miami Dolphins are a hot topic so they will take an opportunity to stir drama for those who refuse to use their brain. It’s all selective journalism. Look at Omar Kelly and the X. Howard fake trade report. Trying to trade and listening to trade offers are two different things but he chose to report what would cause a panic or stir up drama
You know what they say, opinions are like a**holes, EVERYBODY has one. Remember Doug Flutie? The Buffalo Bills chose Rob Johnson, cuz Dougie was “TOO SHORT?”.. How’d THAT work out? Colin ALWAYS talks about the ‘EYE TEST’. Did he NOT see BAMA BALL last year? Joel Klatt is right, Colin. Do you take your CROW, fried, stewed, baked or BBQ’d? Maybe with a side of shut the HELL UP?
The position has evolved. The black qb, smaller guys never got the opportunity back then. The jury is still out on the smaller qb. All the QBs u named was big white guys in a pro style offense pocket guys the league is spread offenses now you’ve got to be mobile now. White or black and size no longer matter just my thoughts

The way QBs are protected now is different if a 43 yr old Tom brady can play and dominate Tua should be just fine. just my thoughts

Your Prototypical NFL QB is tall because of the bais NFL and College scouts have had over decades. For years QB had to big, tall, and white! If a guy was too athletic even if he was white they MADE you play wideout, running back, or corner. The game has changed because those stereotypes are being broken down and disproven by players like Brees, Wilson and Murray. Give Tua a chance to prove himself, that all ANY REAL BALL PLAYER EVER ASK FOR.
