Fantasy enthusiasts, it’s week 4 in the NFL, and you’re starting to see if your team is good, okay, or just bad. By now, you’ve combed the waiver wire, you’ve discussed trades, and you’ve probably cursed your love for fantasy. Let’s see how we can get your fantasy team back on track. Whether you’re 3-0, 0-3, or everything in between, there is still hope.

Running Backs

Week 4 will feature the return of Alvin Kamara from his three-game suspension. This couldn’t come at a better time, as Jamal Williams is now on IR, Derek Carr is dealing with a shoulder injury, and the Saints are facing division rival Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers defense just got gashed by D’Andre Swift for 130 yards on the ground, so look for Kamara to get a heavy workload right out of the gate. Speaking of RBs, Jahmyr Gibbs might be close to getting benched in fantasy. After three disappointing outputs and now the news that David Montgomery will be active for the game, I can’t confidently start Gibbs until he proves he can ramp up his production. However, missing out on his breakout game would be bad, so perhaps we should keep him starting for at least one more week. If you’re looking for a spark at your RB position, look no further than Miami’s De’Von Achane. After his explosive introduction in week 3, expect Mike McDaniel to use the speedy rookie against the Bills in what is sure to be a fantasy dream.

Wide Receivers

WR production is at an all-time high in fantasy right now. In tonight’s game, the Packers will have the services of last year’s breakout Christian Watson. Whether or not he will be limited is yet to be seen. I don’t think Watson’s return will break up the connection Jordan Love has made with Romeo Doubs, so if you have to start Watson, do so with caution. A WR that could look to see more playing time is Chargers rookie Quentin Johnston. With the unfortunate news that Mike Williams’ season is over after suffering a torn ACL, the Chargers are now left with Joshua Palmer and Johnston behind Keenan Allen. If the rookie makes some noise this week, he will quickly move into WR3/Flex territory. The Dolphins will get Jaylen Waddle back after a week in the concussion protocol; he’s immediately back into starting lineups because, as I mentioned before, Miami vs. Buffalo should be a fantasy feast.

Sneaky Starts

The Colts defense has been quietly consistent, with 11, 7, and 8 points in the first three weeks. The Colts will face the Rams this week, who gave up six sacks and two ints to the Bengals’ defense. The Colts have 12 sacks in their first three games. The tight end position has been bleak; outside of the top guys, it’s tough to find someone to fill that spot on your team. However, look to start Packers’ tight end Luke Musgrave, who was targeted eight times against the Saints last week. Even with Aaron Jones returning, Love will need a safety blanket.

Dolphins vs Bills

I’d be hard-pressed to bench anyone from this game, so I’m starting all fantasy-relevant players:

Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Raheem Mostert, De’Von Achane

Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, James Cook

Week 4 will make or break some fantasy seasons, so put your best foot forward, and we’ll see how things turn out during the Week 4 recap article. Good luck and may your fantasy players ball out.
