Miami Dolphins superstar safety Jevon Holland is in the concussion protocol as he reported symptoms Monday in his follow-up check-up per Mike McDaniel at his Monday press conference. Holland had to leave the game Sunday due to a hit to the head; he passed the concussion check on the sideline and could return to the game. But any player who is checked out for a concussion during the game the following day has another visit with the doctor. During that visit, Holland reported concussion symptoms, putting him in the concussion protocol.

This season, players who have been in the concussion protocol typically miss the week’s upcoming game, so there is a good chance Holland won’t play this weekend vs New England. But each situation is different, and we will have more information on this as the story develops.
