During his press conference on Monday, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said that the quad injury Dolphins starting left guard Isaiah Wynn suffered could keep him out for weeks. The Dolphins play the Patriots this week, followed by a trip to Germany to play Kansas City before having their Bye week. Lester Cotton is expected to fill in for Wynn for the games he misses. Robert Jones, if healthy, will also compete for playing time at that position.

The Dolphins are already without their starting left tackle Terron Armstead and center Connor Williams with no timetable for return for either player.
